It's always good for fans to see Cindy Lima once again on the national team list. Evaristo Pérez rescued her from the ‘darkness' and finally gave her a chance to compete. She didn't disappoint anybody as she showed the intensity and rebounding desire which fans had seen for years in Vigo, Zaragoza and León. But in her early professional years Cindy Lima didn't seem to be focused on basketball, getting some experience in the fashion industry in Paris and even playing in the Spanish third division. She was one of the keys of the 1998 U18 European Championship Women gold medal winners but she only made up her mind to really apply herself to basketball when she came across Celta.
