Italy used a balanced attack to secure their second win of the EuroBasket Women qualification campaign with a 68-53 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

Four players scored in double figures as Manuela Zanon had 15 points, Marte Alexander 13, Simona Ballardini 11 and Kathrin Ress 10, with Ress also adding eight rebounds for the victors.

Italy began to pull away late in the second quarter, taking a 33-26 lead to the locker rooms, before a 10-1 run capped by Ramon's three-pointer put them 53-34 up with 1:31 to go in the third.

The hosts kept up the fight in the final period but could do little to close the gap, and they now fall to 0-2 following their tough 46-45 loss to Finland last Wednesday.

Italy are now 2-1, having bounced back from an opening defeat to Poland by beating Finland 77-62 on Saturday.
