Greece came from behind in the fourth quarter to stun Serbia 85-82 in the EuroBasket Women qualifying opener for both sides.

Evanthia Maltsi had 29 points for Greece to lead all scorers in the Group D clash.

Jelena Milovanovic's jump shot early in the fourth quarter gave Serbia a 68-62 advantage but Maltsi had four points in an 8-0 run to put the Greeks in front.

Greece didn't take the lead for good until 1:39 remained, however, when Maltsi made two free throws for a 74-72 advantage.

Teammate Dimitra Kalentzou followed with a three-pointer.

Greece then made eight of 10 free throws over the final 36 seconds to seal victory.

Ana Perovic had 20 points to lead the Serbian scorers.

Milovanovic poured in 18 and grabbed 10 rebounds in defeat.
