    Carlos Portugal, Portugal coach:

"We played very well, Luxembourg is not as bad as it seemed. We had a very good game, so we can gain some trust for the next game against FYR of Macedonia. Even without one or two key players, we are renovating our national team and the results are now showing. If we win the game in FYR of Macedonia we can keep on track for qualification."

    Hermann Paar, Luxembourg coach:

"I have to be ashamed. This is not acceptable and is not what we can play. If the team plays like that again I will resign. I don't want to live this again. We can lose but we have to fight. Portugal is working very well towards the future and we expected their team to be as strong as it was today."
