Romania hit the road and thrashed Bosnia and Herzegovina 101-66 in Sarajevo on Sunday to boost their chances of remaining in Division A of the EuroBasket Women.

Svetlana Dragusin poured in 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the winners in a Relegation Round fight between two national sides that claimed just a single victory in eight games last summer.

Romania stormed out to a 30-18 advantage by the end of the first quarter and stayed on top the rest of the way.

Bosnia and Herzegovina endured an almighty struggle shooting the ball.

Inside the arc, the home team only made 18 of 48 (37.5%) and at the free throw line they were an awful 24 of 43 (55.8%).

Romania drilled 37 of 70 shots overall and sank 24 of 36 (66.7%) at the charity stripe.

Simina Mandache contributed 18 points and six boards for Romania.
