Romania romped to their second straight victory in the EuroBasket Women Relegation Round.

The Romanians followed up their demolition of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an 80-49 drubbing of the visiting Finns.

Finland, who led Great Britain by 14 points at the end of the first quarter before losing 63-61 on Sunday, jumped out to a 16-9 advantage late in the first frame at Romania.

Tiina Sten hit back-to-back shots from behind the arc for the seven-point lead.

Instead of building on that great start, though, the Finns allowed Romania to come back.

In fact, the home side reeled off the next 18 points for a 27-16 lead midway through the second quarter.

By half-time, the advantage had ballooned to 44-29. There was no way back for the visitors after Romania scored the first 10 points of the second half.

Maria Pascalau had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Romania.
