Israel pulled away from hosts Lithuania on Saturday for a 76-60 victory - their fourth win in five games.

The result has sent the Israelis to the top of Group A in EuroBasket Women Division A.

Shay Doron had 19 points and four rebounds for Israel, who had four other players reach double figures in scoring.

The game was knotted at 32-32 in the third quarter when Laine Selwyn split a pair of free throws and Doron buried a jumper to spark the surge that put the Israelis on top for good.

Eli Rabi's team shot 30 of 64 from the floor, including 24 of 49 inside the arc.

Lithuania had 19 turnovers to just 10 for Israel.

Sandra Valuzyte had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Baltic country, who slipped to 3-2.

Israel also beat Lithuania in their first encounter, 63-47.

    Daina Staugaitiene, Lithuania player:

"We made too many turnovers and lost the rebounds. We also played poorly in defense. I think these are the main reasons why we lost."

    Rutenis Paulauskas, Lithuania coach:

"We allowed Israel to take control of the game. We didn't manage to organize the game the way we wanted."

    Suez Karni, Israel player:

"We played well in defense. That helped us to stop their guards. We also had more energy today. Lithuania is a very strong team and the win makes me proud of my team-mates."

    Eli Rabi, Israel coach:

"Lithuania started the game very strongly, but I'm proud of my players who managed to come back. We created good shot opportunities and we played good game in defense. I think we were better today."
