Staugaitiene is what you could call a "late bloomer". After a four year college career in the NCAA, she only blew up at 26, during her last season with Klaipeda (17.1 ppg). During her first stint with the national team, she proved to be a reliable scorer and even managed to secure a starting job. Last season, she played really well in the EuroLeague Women with Vilnius even though it was her rookie campaign at that level. She also became one of the most efficient offensive players in the whole league, hitting 42% of her three-pointers.
