After not playing in 2007, turning 30 this year and with her sister Eva missing out due to injury, this is one power forward who is on a mission to make sure Italy reach the final round. She has often lived in the shadows at club level being a back up for bigger names but has never stopped working tirelessly for her team-mates and making the most of any court time she sees. The games comes really easily too her and is a safe pair of hands who can defend the post well. Has EuroLeague Women experience and don't be fooled by her numbers. Much of what Giauro offers defensively doesn't always find its way onto the stat sheet.
