Career: AZS Poznan (Poland-PLKK, 2004-09).

Joanna Walich is one of the few experienced players of the Polish women's national team. She took part in the last two European qualification campaigns with a little playing time. Last summer the power forward was still pretty efficient, averaging 6.1 points and 2.1 points in 11 minutes. Since 2005 Walich is a very reliable forward of the Polish basketball league. Last season she averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 boards, 2.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, showing both offensive and defensive skills. She could be very helpful in the paint this summer in Latvia.
