Sonja Petrovic is one of the most skilled players of the Serbian national team. This year she won the EuroLeague Women Championship with Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region though she did not play due to injury. During the previous season she reached the competition's Semi-Finals with Bourges, averaging 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. She also was a member of the U18 Serbian Team which won the European championship in 2005. As with Jelena Milovanovic she was drafted in spring by the WNBA, going to the San Antonio Silver Stars with the 26th pick. She is only twenty years old and could have a great career.
